Traditional and secular organ music can be provided when requested by our highly experienced and skilled organists, whose expertise ensures a thoughtful and dignified accompaniment to each service. They can tailor the music to suit individual preferences, whether families wish to include hymns, reflective classical pieces, or more contemporary selections arranged for the organ.
Following the cremation of his father at Glasgow Crematorium in December 2020, Mr John Burnett - an accomplished organist, generously donated an electronic organ for use in the New Chapel in memory of his late father, Mr Samuel Beresford Burnett. Mr Burnett was himself classically trained, and it is especially fitting that his son is pictured here before our RAF stained-glass window, reflecting his father’s service in the Royal Air Force. This remarkable act of generosity has provided the Crematorium with a high-quality instrument that will significantly enrich the musical experience for families and friends attending services in the New Chapel.
