Designed to offer comfort & calm

The Garden of Remembrance offers a peaceful and beautifully maintained setting for quiet reflection and remembrance. Situated to the right of the Crematorium building, it provides a tranquil space where families and friends can spend time in contemplation, surrounded by carefully tended plants, mature trees, and seasonal flowers. The garden is designed to offer comfort and calm, creating an environment where memories can be honoured in a serene and dignified way.

Along the surrounding garden wall, commemorative tablets in blue-black slate with traditional gilded lettering are displayed. These tablets provide a lasting and personal tribute to loved ones and are available on a ten-year lease, with the option to renew beyond this initial term. Their placement within the garden ensures that the names and memories of those commemorated become part of a gentle, reflective landscape visited by many throughout the year.

The Garden of Remembrance is open:
Monday to Friday: 9am – 4pm
Saturday: 9am – 1pm
Sunday: 11am – 3pm

We request that the last admission is 15 minutes prior to our closing time.

Whether choosing to pause for a moment of quiet or to leave flowers in tribute, families can find comfort in this dedicated space. Thoughtfully designed and carefully maintained, it continues to be an important part of the Crematorium grounds and a valued place of remembrance for the community.
