We want everyone who visits Glasgow Crematorium to feel welcome and comfortable. Both our Old Chapel and New Chapel have step-free wheelchair access, with accessible facilities available close by.
Old Chapel
Wheelchair access to the Old Chapel is available via the Garden of Remembrance. Follow the path to the left, back towards the main building. This takes you into the Book of Remembrance area, where a disabled access lift is located on the left-hand side and provides access to the Old Chapel.
New Chapel
Wheelchair access to the New Chapel is step-free. Visitors should make their way to the left-hand side of the main entrance, where a small ramp leads to a side entrance. From there, it is only a short distance to the chapel, where you will be guided by a member of our Crematorium staff.
Accessible Parking
Designated disabled parking spaces are available in both the Old Chapel and New Chapel car parks.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are available close to both the Old Chapel and New Chapel.
Wheelchair Seating
Visitors using a wheelchair are welcome to remain in their wheelchair during the service, with space to sit alongside family and friends.
